To optimize future investments, Matunda Enterprises will work with local Technology and Innovation Policy Framework which serves as a roadmap to identify SIDS priorities and the outcomes the investments are focused to achieve. Examples of some technologies that Matunda Enterprises intend to explore includes:

1. Renewable Energy Sources

a. Landfill Gas – Energy

b. Landfill Waste to Energy

2. Non-invasive methods of capture SIDS Pre & Post developments

a. Drone Lidar Mapping

b. Precision GPS Mapping

In partnership with ministries across government, the local framework will help to achieve four goals:

1. Grow national competitive industry clusters across the country that support locals

2. Increase diversity and participation in the innovation economy – including Indigenous Peoples, communities, and those living in low to middle class areas

3. Help SMES scale up, anchor and create good-paying jobs for locals

4. Develop the talent pool to help grow the innovation and technology economy and help attract the right types of opportunities for SIDS

 Through the collaboration of this growing technology and innovation sector, Mutanda Enterprises want SMES businesses to become greener and more competitive. This framework will also help to guide and grow partnerships between Indigenous peoples, communities, post-secondary institutions, research organizations and industry to help solve some of the most critical challenges that faced as a society.
